My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is client centered, empathetic, and compassionate. As a client-centered therapist, I trust that clients know themselves best and give them the power to direct their therapy. With thoughtful questions, exploration, and gentle feedback, clients will grow and gain understanding of their symptoms, interpersonal and behavioral patterns, and ways to resolve problems. I meet clients where they are at and act as a non-judgmental sounding board. I highlight client strengths and provide positive feedback to help clients work through traumas and stressors and regain confidence in their lives.
