My Approach to Therapy
I believe people, including children, make change in their lives through nonjudgmental and consistent support. I take an approach to therapy that is strength-based, person-centered, and unique to every individual. Using my social work background, I work to support the individual within their environmental contexts. This means pulling from a variety of interventions including play therapy, cognitive therapies, trauma therapies, and psychodynamic therapy, among others, to fit each person and family’s needs. Therapy can be a challenging but beautiful experience. Everyone deserves to find a provider that helps them feel seen and valued.
