My Approach to Therapy

I earned my M.A. in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University and completed my graduate internship at Understanding Minds Psychological Services. I am excited to continue with Understanding Minds as I progress in my career. My experiences thus far have included working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of presenting conditions including ADHD, anger, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, relationship distress, work dissatisfaction, school-related problems, social difficulties, and more. My approach to therapy is engaging and strength based. When working with children, I emphasize a collaborative approach that involves routine parent meetings to monitor progress. I believe in supporting my clients to achieve their goals and live a healthier life.
