My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is empathetic, person centered, and systems surrounding people (e.g. work, family). As a systemically trained therapist, I believe the systems people are in play a significant role on their mental health and wellbeing. While my approach draws strongly from systemic theories, I also incorporate Cognitive-behavioral therapy and Narrative therapy, and remain trauma informed in my work. Clients gain love and understanding of themselves and their world around them to make lasting change. In my approach, I am committed to meeting my clients where they are emotionally at and working alongside them through their journey.
