My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy and psychological assessment is rooted in compassion, empathy, and trust. I believe that experiencing a full range of emotions is an important aspect of a growth-focused life, so I strive to walk alongside clients as they identify their past and present emotional experience, get comfortable around unfamiliar emotions, and learn skills to approach new emotional experiences confidently and with minimal disruption. Spending time with your feelings can be an intimidating idea, which is why I highly value building a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship, providing a validating space where we can be comfortable expressing our “big feelings.” Everyone is at a different place in their growth and healing journey, and my job is to meet you at wherever that may be, and to help equip you with the awareness, skills, and confidence to pursue lifelong holistic growth.
