My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is one that focuses most on authenticity and collaboration, as I believe people tend to be happiest when they are engaging authentically with the world around them. It is my intention to show up to session as my authentic self and collaboratively create a space where you can do the same. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and experiences and that through thoughtful questioning, purposeful reflection, and evidence based tools and techniques, we can work together to align your most authentic self with your most realistic self. I have spent time working with both adolescents and adults regarding several presenting concerns and am a trauma informed clinician. My goal is to utilize the relationship we’ll build together to create a safe space for you and the things you may be struggling with, while simultaneously helping guide and empower you in developing tools and skills to take on life’s never ending challenges.
