My Approach to Therapy
My compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy is engaging and prioritizes understanding you and your needs. I emphasize that we all experience challenges and struggles throughout life and seeking support is a healthy way to address them. Together we will identify how to maximize your strengths to manage your presenting concerns. Through my integrative approach, you learn you are capable of managing symptoms, addressing problems, and making positive changes. I am passionate about mental health, and you will feel my commitment to you and to our work together.
My Approach to Evaluations
My comprehensive and thoughtful approach to evaluations focuses on providing answers to questions about your or your child's mental health. I want you to leave the evaluation process with a clear understanding of cognitive functioning, symptoms, patterns of behavior, personality traits, and diagnoses. Recommendations for steps you can take to help you or your child going forward are provided to help guide and empower positive change.
My Approach to Management
I strive to create a work environment where everyone feels supported and understood. I want clients, colleagues, and staff to trust my commitment to them and to their work. At Understanding Minds, we are a team and collaborate routinely for professional growth, to support one another, and to ensure we provide top notch mental health services to our clients. I value and appreciate my colleagues and administrative staff, as they make Understanding Minds a wonderful place to work. To all of our clients, we appreciate you trusting us with your mental health.
